Materuni Waterfall is one of the beautiful Waterfalls in the Mware River found in the Materuni Village on the edge of the Kilimanjaro mountain reserve forest.
Materuni Village is one of the attractive, amazing few villages in Moshi Kilimanjaro – Northern East Tanzania laying at the slops of the highest African peak – Mount Kilimanjaro. With full of all the beauty in this wonderful village make it worth much visiting for holiday, week-end outing or vacation. The nature walk in this village offers you scenic view while enjoying its fresh air from its green vegetation while explore the beauty of Mt. Kilimanjaro and cultural heritage of the Chaggatribe. The villagers will demonstrate the process of coffee farming and guide you through the preparation of coffee from a bean to a cup. Sing and dance along with the Chaggatribe as they are grinding, roasting and boiling the beans. When the coffee is ready, villagers will serve lunch – a national Chagga meal. This nature walk recommended for the trekkers to prepare your body for the coming climb to Mt. Meru/Kilimanjaro also easing your muscles after your climb.
When you get to the waterfall, you can refresh yourself in the natural pool, so swimsuits will come in handy!
