12-Day Safari in Africa and Kenya
I met Arnold, one of the founders of Croy, through my mom, who had him as a guide when she traveled to Africa with a larger tour company. She couldn’t stop raving about him, so when my friends and I decided to go on a safari for our 30th birthdays, choosing him was a no-brainer. Croy is a much smaller company, which means that Arnold and his crew will make sure that all your safari dreams come true. We wanted to see Kenya AND Tanzania, and Arnold made it happen. We wanted to see the great migration, and Arnold made it happen. We wanted nicer accommodations than originally proposed, and we want a private tour (3 of us total), and he made all of that happen, too. Clearly communicate what you want, and you’ll love your experience. Arnold knows everything there is to know about safaris—where the animals are, when they will be there, which lodges have the most beautiful views but are also close enough to the animals so you’re not wasting your time, and which lodges to avoid because their visitors often get food poisoning. And having spent two weeks straight with him, I can honestly say that Arnold is truly a good person. I would email him, even if you think you want a specific type of safari that isn’t offered on their website. If he can’t do it, he’ll know someone that can.
In short, choose Croy if you want a customized experience with someone you can trust!
